I am using Netscape Communicator 4.x.  The weirdest thing is happening where I am connected ok, but when I click on a link in Netscape, nothing happens.  Is there something wrong with my Netscape program?

This actually is a bug in the Netscape 4.x software itself.  If it is the bug that is causing your problem, do the following steps:

1) Close out of the Netscape program altogether.
2) Wait 10 Seconds.
3) Do a Control-Alt-Delete keystroke to bring up the Close Programs window.
4) If it is the bug, Netscape will still be in the Close Programs list even though you already closed it
5) Click on Netscape and click on End Task.
6) In a few seconds you will get a window that says "Program is not responding".
7) When this comes up, click on End Task again.
8) Wait 10 more seconds.
9) Restart Netscape.

The problem should be fixed for now.  But it is something to keep an eye out for as it may happen again.
