I am using Eudora 5 or 5.1.  Whenever I try to send or receive email, I get a "Security Certificate error".  Is the problem with the program settings or with your server?

This is a Eudora setting that has to be corrected.

Follow these steps:

1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Options
3. Click on Checking Mail
4. At the bottom of the right hand pane, you will see a drop-down menu labeled "Use Secure Sockets when Receiving".  Set this to Never.
5. Click on Sending Mail.
6. At the bottom of the right hand pane, you will see a drop-down menu labeled "Use Secure Sockets when Sending".  Set this to Never.
7. Click Ok to close out.

That should fix the problem.
