I am using Outlook Express.  Right after I do a Send and Receive to get and/or send my email, I get disconnected.  How can this be corrected?

There is an Outlook Express setting that tells it to do this.

Follow these steps to correct it.

1. Click on Tools
2. Click on Options
3. Click on the Connections Tab
4. You will see a checkbox labeled "Hang Up After Sending and Receiving".  UNcheck this box.
5. Click Ok to close out.

That should fix the problem.
